The Mountain Safety Council of Sweden consists of representatives from governmental agencies and organisations with great knowledge about mountain safety.

The council´s objective is to prevent accidents through information and education about mountain safety. The Mountain Safety Council is coordinated by The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency.
